Red face African Praise and Worship songs/artists

If you speak a language other than English, sometimes one feels like praising God in the other tongue.....for me, at times it seems more intimate for example when I worship and praise in Yoruba, or when am listening to Yoruba/Igbo gospel artists.....so....

Who are some of your favorite african (read nigerian, ghanian, liberian, etc) praise and worship artists/albums/songs?

I'll go first and say that right now, I'm enjoying the following artists:
- Fountain of Praise - they sang, "today o, I will lift up voice and praise..."
- Agboola Shadare and his "glory" album
- My own brotha, Gbenga Owo-Eye Wise...
- Also, Mike Aremu - more like jazzy worship
- Last but not least is pastor Kunle Ajayi with his saxophone......

so, care to share yours?

Mine has to be Sister Agatha Moses
And also a new one out called Akanchawa - Ministration Worship
I also like Yinka Ayefele- Divine Intervention. (I call it African OAP's top of the Pops, cos anytime its on in my house or the older ones leave their seats and dance for an hour non-stop)

How come you people know all these naija artists and I don't know any of them? Anyways, Sammie Opkoso and Mike Aremu have both been to my church. Good ministers.

As an aside, we had an Africa day in church yesterday. Our church used to be predominantly white but is becoming increasingly multicultural. Most people including caucasians dressed up in African attire and it was a beauty to behold. We had worship songs from South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria, and everyone had such a great time.

Afterwards, we had African food. Everyone definitely thought that they had a glimpse of what heaven would be like.
