I would rather love the sinner and hate the sin. Don't persecute the sinner adopt a "go and sin no more" attitude. They should step down from their position and seek matured believers/pastors etc to minister/counsel them.
I quite agree with Spiribro. It's against the law of God to have that kind of sexual orientation. However God can change whoever is in this kind of situation as long as they humble themselves and seek His help.
